Thrilled Junior Hornets experienced behind-the-scenes access at the club’s training ground and the Vicarage Road Stadium in two exciting events this week.
Lucky supporters who were successful in a random ballot for each event went home happy having met many of the Hornets’ players as well as key figures at the club.
The training ground event on Wednesday (April 13) gave members a glimpse into life for a professional footballer, with a skills coaching session followed by a tour of the facilities and a media taster activity.
To make the day truly unforgettable, they also chatted with the first-team squad and manager Roy Hodgson as they left the training pitch!
On Thursday (April 14), The Vic played host to another group of young Watford fans who took a tour of the stadium and participated in an Easter egg hunt with Harry the Hornet.
They also met the club’s grounds staff and posed for photos in the dugout before being surprised by Hassane Kamara, Samir, Ismaïla Sarr and Georgia Clifford in the home changing room!
The two action-packed, fun-filled days sent the Junior Hornets home with smiles aplenty, making memories that will last a lifetime.
